If you have seen “Clueless”, you might remember this moment: the main character sits in front of her digital wardrobe, putting an outfit together on screen. Tops change, skirts are tried out — until the look feels right. An idea from a ’90s film that still makes you think: “I wish I had that!”
That thought was the starting point for MixMyLook. Behind the film scene is a wish many of us share: to see our clothes more clearly and find it easier to decide what to wear.
What shall I wear today?
The wardrobe is full, yet somehow you reach for the same jeans and top again. It is not necessarily because something is missing. Often, you simply cannot see all your options: what do I actually own? What might go together? And what did I pair that top with last time?
Everyday life rarely leaves time to try every possibility. Clothes at the back of the wardrobe are easily forgotten. And trying a new combination often means taking things out, laying them down, changing and tidying up again.
MixMyLook brings the idea from “Clueless” to the iPhone — starting with the wardrobe you already own.
Rediscover your wardrobe
In MixMyLook, you can photograph your clothes and keep them in an organised collection. Even the pieces buried under a pile in your real wardrobe become visible again.
That digital overview helps you consider more of your wardrobe when putting an outfit together. Perhaps your favourite trousers also work with a top you have not worn for a while. Or a familiar piece takes on a whole new feel in a different combination.
This is about clothes that already belong to you. You do not need to buy someone else’s look to try something new.

Sometimes, one part of your outfit is already decided: today calls for that cosy jumper. Or the trousers you feel especially comfortable in. You just need to work out the rest.
In MixMyLook, you can lock one item in place and change the others. Your favourite stays while you explore different combinations. Step by step, you can build a look without starting from scratch each time.

When you like an outfit, you can save it as a favourite look. Next time, you will not need to remember which pieces worked so well together.
This is especially helpful on busy days: you can return to a saved combination and have an outfit idea straight away.
